Every business owner is looking for new business. New clients are the catalyst for business growth, but finding the right types of clients is often a difficult task for business owners. The dilemma between taking on any new client, or clients that fit your businesses niche can leave the decision maker up at night thinking about the possibilities.
This is why TLG recommends online advertising for businesses. Because it allows the business to pick and choose the areas of potential growth for their business.
As a business owner (and I'm assuming you are one), you have only so much time and money to invest into growing a business. And getting those "right" type of clients is often a process that sucks away time and money in the process.
With online advertising a business has the ability to tactically choose specific areas to target for growth. So, if you're only interested in targeting potential customers/clients in the Redondo Beach area, you can do so. Or perhaps you are looking to target potential customers/clients all over the nation, but only individuals who are interested in a specific type of product such as math text books, online advertising makes that really doable, and most important of all, inexpensive.
So if you are fed up with the time you are spending trying to attract new business, give TLG a call at 562-537-6936 and explore how we can help you target the niche client/customers that can really help your business grow.

Online Video - The Key to Increasing Avg. Time Spent on a Website
One commonly overlooked aspect of SEO is the average amount of time a visitor spends on a website. You can have all the best SEO practices in place, but if the content isn't appealing to the visitor, they may simply leave your site seconds after visiting it.
That's why it's crucial to have online video on your website. A search engine doesn't know whether the individual is reading the content on the page, or simply watching a :30 second or :60 video instead. In fact, the longer you can get an visitor to stay on a particular website watching a video the better.
The best approach in our professional opinion is to build a page with multiple short, related videos on it, or a video player that contains all of the videos. This way, you aren't showing visitors videos that drag on, rather they are watching multiple shorter videos, and are less likely to bounce away from the page quickly.
Here's an example of a recent video page we created for a client:
http://lanzonemorgan.com/lanzone_morgan_lawyers_videos.htm
And on top of having the videos hosted on their own website, we constructed a personalized YouTube page for the client to ensure that individuals searching for related video topics online would also find them.

Growing Clientele
We at TLG feel very fortunate that so many small and medium-sized businesses trust us to handle their marketing efforts. Since the beginning of 2010, three new companies have hired TLG to manage either website design, search-engine marketing, public relations or marketing for their companies.
The best part is, two of the companies were referrals from current clients who have been so impressed with our level of work that they have decided to "share us" with individuals they do business with. Thank you to our clients for helping to spread the word about TLG!
TLG continues to stay at the forefront of SEO website design, online marketing and public relations and we're excited about the coming months.

New Year SEO & Website Updates
Individuals and businesses alike will be looking to make changes in 2010. Much like the New Year's resolutions that individuals make for 2010, businesses are also looking for resolutions to generate more profit or exposure.
That's why if you are planning on getting some of this business for 2010, it would be wise to incorporate "2010 Resolution" content on to your website. Simple adjustments to your website content right now will help cache your website before 2010 and raise your organic search results. You can even go so far as to add "2010-related" keywords to your website front page so that you separate your business from the thousands of other competitor websites out there.
TLG is in the process of constructing a brand new website that will be live in the middle of January 2010. While we constantly update our website content, our new website will help to give us a greater foothold in the Long Beach and Los Angeles online marketing arena.
If you are interested in learning more about SEO update or website content updates contact Evan Lamont at Evan@lamontgroup.biz or by calling 562-537-6936.

Online Green Screen Video
TLG just wrapped up a green-screen video project for a Southern California Newspaper to promote the new technology behind their e-edition. The e-edition is identical to the print edition in layout and content, but is viewed online with a plethora of bonus features.
But rather than tell you about these features, why don't you take a look for yourself :-)

Latest Website Project - www.LongBeachKroc.org
We just wrapped up the design of our company's latest website design project.
www.LongBeachKroc.org
The Long Beach Kroc Center website will serve the purpose of informing the community about the project as well as providing video, links to press stories and social media updates. To date, this is our largest web design project, and we are thankful to The Salvation Army of Long Beach for choosing us to handle this request. The free reign they gave us on the design allowed us to produce a site that was both SEO-efficient as well as visually aesthetic.
Take a look and let us know what you think!

Free Online Business Promotion
There are very few things in business that are "free" and can help you generate more business. Sure, networking with new business associates is free, but the mixer you met them at probably had some fee. Not to mention the time you have to spend out of the office instead of keeping the nose to the grind.
If you are looking for a simple, free way to promote your business then look no further than the Internet Overlord, Google. Google Business Directory & Google Maps are two great ways to promote your business for free. Registering your business with the Google Business Directory is a great way for your business to get categorized into a market where customers can find you.
Google Maps is another great way to promote online for free. By claiming your business on Google Maps, you can modify your profile, and also categorize your business into relevant business types. So if you are an attorney, you can register your business in 5 different attorney and legal based categories. Registering your business on Google Maps is also great, because when individuals perform geographic searches (i.e. Boston Deli, New York Shoe Store, Los Angeles Car Repair) the Google Maps feature appears above all of the other organic search results.
I highly recommend these business promotion tools. They are quick and easy to register and best of all, they're free! Or if you would prefer for TLG - The Lamont Group to assist you in your online marketing efforts you can get in touch with us by calling 562-537-6936 or visiting us online at www.TLGLB.com
